In a unexpected collaboration that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned practices and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
